Our volunteers are the heart of our program! KVGSA is a not-for-profit organization, and annually more than 100 volunteers step up to help make each season the best it can be for our athletes!
Whether you're brand new to softball or have played for years, there is a place for you and we would love to have your help!

On-Field Helpers
Our U5, U7 & U9 Learn To Play programs are lead by our hired Summer Students. Our on-field helpers are critical to keeping the planned stations moving along and will help execute basic drills. The main focus in LTP is FUNdamentals, and you are key to achieving that!
Head & Assistant Coaches
Our U11 - U17 age groups play in our John Jellison House League. Each team consists of one head coach & 2-3 assistant coaches to help execute practices & coach during games. These divisions have a focus on skill development & learning game play strategy.
Each Dynamite & Firecracker team consists of a Head Coach and Assistant Coaches, selected through a formal application process.
Team Managers
KVGSA's competitive travel teams (Dynamite - AA & Firecrackers - A) have Team Managers who are critical team members for coordinating games, managing team funds and organizing hotel blocks to keep the team running smoothly!
Scorekeepers / GameChanger
Enjoy watching the game and help the coaching staff by keeping score of the game, in a book or on the GameChanger app (for applicable teams).

Board of Directors
The KVGSA Board oversee all program planning, scheduling, registrations, and technical direction each season.
A call for available Board Role applications is posted annually on KVGSA's Facebook page, with voting selections occurring at the Annual General Meeting each season.
