President - Stacy Blois

Stacy joined the KVGSA board in 2013 in the Secretary role after coaching with the KV Girls Softball Association for a year. Stacy lives in Quispamsis with her husband Jason and son Seth. Stacy worked with the telephone company since 1987 in a variety of roles over the years and is now enjoying retirement!

Stacy is originally from Moncton and played in the Minor Baseball Leage as a child and then moved to the sport of softball. She earned back to back Provincial titles and a silver medal at the Orthodox Nationals.

Stacy continued to play softball when she moved to Quispamsis, participating in the Saint John Ladies League until 2012 when she joined KV Girls Softball as a coach! Stacy is thrilled to be giving back to the sport that has been such a huge part of her life. Stacy strives to provide the girls in KV with an opportunity to be part of the fantastic game of softball! She has completed her Level 3 coach training, and is also a trained Can Pitch instructor. Stacy was named as Assistant Coach of the 2021 Women's Canada Games Softball Team for NB.

Karen started volunteering with KVGSA with the Learn to Play program for the 2014 and 2015 seasons. In 2016, she took on a new role as Manager of the U12 Dynamite team. She continued to manage a Dynamite team every season until 2019. Karen also had the opportunity to be part of the planning committee for the U12 Atlantic Championships in 2017 and the U14 Eastern Canadian Championships in 2019. Karen also serves as the Recreational League Coordinator for KVGSA. Karen has enjoyed all of the opportunities that softball and KVGSA has provided her and her family.

Executive Director - Shawn Titus

Shawn joined the KVGSA executive in 2023 after watching his daughter’s growth in her first 4 years of the program.

He has played softball at the provincial and national level and continues to play locally when time permits.

Shawn has 25 years of experience leading an adult hockey league that serves Saint John and the surrounding communities, along with 20 years of experience serving on multiple community boards in various capacities.

This is an opportunity to invest in a program that gives girls the chance to grow life skills and learn the game of softball at the same time.

Treasurer - Meryl Coes

Meryl joined the KVGSA Board in 2023.  Meryl is from Saint John but moved to Quispamsis in 2011. Meryl is married to John and is mom to 2 fantastic softball girls, Madison, 10 years old and Riley, age 8.

Technical Director - Greg Parker

Greg grew up in Quispamsis where he played travel ball for many years.  His love of ball expanded into softball as his daughter, Kate, became more involved.  Greg started volunteering with KVGSA in 2014 in the Learn to Play program.  He then transitioned to coaching in the Dynamite program for several years.  Greg was a pitcher so taking an interest in pitching seemed like a natural fit which led him to become KVGSA’s pitching coach.  Along with his daughter, Greg conducts pitching clinics both within KVGSA and around the province. His knowledge and creativity made him the perfect candidate for Technical Director.  Greg joined the Board of Directors in 2022.

Secretary - Amanda Doherty

Amanda joined the board in 2023 after having been an on field volunteer for her daughter Lauren's team.

Amanda's love for softball started many years ago when she started to play fastpitch at a young age which continued into her adult years when she played in a ladies fastpitch league. She continues to play to this day on a Co-Ed slo pitch team.

In her younger years, having had to bounce all over Saint John and KV to find a softball team to play on, she is so happy to be a part of this amazing program! KVGSA makes it possible for young girls to be a part of a team and fall in love with the sport by inspiring and developing each and every girl.
