Greg started volunteering with KVGSA in 2014 in the Learn to Play program. He then transitioned to coaching in the Dynamite program for several years. Greg was a pitcher so taking an interest in pitching seemed like a natural fit which led him to become KVGSA’s pitching coach. Along with his daughter, Greg conducts pitching clinics both within KVGSA and around the province. His knowledge and creativity made him the perfect candidate for Technical Director. Greg joined the Board of Directors in 2022.
Secretary - Amanda Doherty
Amanda joined the board in 2023 after having been an on field volunteer for her daughter Lauren's team.
Amanda's love for softball started many years ago when she started to play fastpitch at a young age which continued into her adult years when she played in a ladies fastpitch league. She continues to play to this day on a Co-Ed slo pitch team.
In her younger years, having had to bounce all over Saint John and KV to find a softball team to play on, she is so happy to be a part of this amazing program! KVGSA makes it possible for young girls to be a part of a team and fall in love with the sport by inspiring and developing each and every girl.
