Coaching & Helping Out with KVGSA

KV Girls Softball Association prides itself on the quality of programs it offers the girls in Kennebecasis Valley.  Without our dedicated volunteer parent coaches and helpers, we would not be able to run our programs.  We put every effort into making sure all of our volunteers have the appropriate training and certification needed to teach the girls the game of softball.

You don't have to be a superstar ball player to be a SUPERSTAR COACH

At KVGSA our emphasis is on skills development.  Fun is the most important part of youth sports and fun is the energy that players use to motivate themselves. Fun makes players want to improve their own skills.  When sports are no longer fun, children don't want to participate.  Your #1 job as a volunteer coach and/or helper with KVGSA is to have FUN!

Teaching softball is important, but being a positive role model is the priority as a coach.  We are here to help the girls to grow and develop as people, not just ball players.  Building self confidence and encouraging respect and positive behaviors are all part of being a coach with the KV Girls Softball Association.
