2017 Fall Pitching Clinic

We've had an overwhelming response for our Fall Pitching Clinic, so we've had to modify our schedule.

The Introductory Pitching Clinics for U10 and beginner U12 pitchers with trained CanPitch Instructor, Pat Ernst.

The Intro group has been broken into two 30 minute sessions.  Group A will warm up in the lobby at 6:45 and move into the gym at 7pm as soon as basketball clears out.  Group B will warm up at 7:15 in the lobby and start their session at 7:30.  Due to the reduction of time for the Intro groups we will extend the pitching clinic for these groups by 2 weeks. The 2 Intro groups will go 1 hour on Nov 23 and Nov 30.  Group A from 7-8 and Group B from 8-9 for those last 2 weeks.

If school is cancelled due to a storm day, or other school function forces us out of the gym, there will be no pitching clinic and the session will be made up at the end.  This information will be posted on Facebook and our website HOME page on the right side.

Alecia started playing the sport of Softball at age 8 in the Lancaster 3-pitch league.  She played in the Fundy Softball Orthodox League until making the switch to Fast-Pitch.  The bulk of her fastpitch playing days were spent with the Saint John Selects from Peewee to Junior, winning a total of 9 Provincial titles, 1 Eastern Canadian Championship and numerous National Championships.  Alecia was a member of the Canada Summer Games Team in both 2009 and 2013 representing New Brunswick.

Her love of the game took her state side after high school, playing 2 years for Rose State College in Oklahoma and 2 years for Tabor College in Kansas.  Alecia was named New Brunswick Minor Female Athlete of the Year in 2007 and awarded Female Athlete of the Year in 2012, as well as Most Valuable Player at Eastern Canadians in 2010.

KV Girls Softball Association is thrilled to have Alecia and her dad Jamie assisting us with our pitching program this Fall!
